Bridgewater-Raritan's Mark Marsigliano, Lerrod Smalls, and Trent Levash are in the first round of wrestle backs tonight, Thursday, March 6, after defeats in state tournament in Atlantic City. Matt DiEduardo lost in pre-quarters and is in wrestlebacks round two tomorrow.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11th and 12th, students in Grade 11 will be taking the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA). A collection of 45 Winter Guard performance groups will assemble for the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Winter Guard Competition on Saturday, March 8. This event will run from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bridgewater-Raritan's Winter Guard is scheduled to perform around 9 p.m.
The Italian 3 Academic class had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Elizabeth Farshtey for an enriching interdisciplinary lesson at Bridgewater-Raritan High School on Friday, February 21. The lesson focused on introducing and reviewing Latin roots frequently used in English, while under the guidance of Bridgewater-Raritan High School Italian Teacher Giuseppina Bologno, the students created sentences using the terms in Italian. Students eagerly participated as Ms. Farshtey and Ms. Bologno guided them through strategies to expand their vocabulary in both languages by recognizing common prefixes and suffixes. This approach not only helped deepen their understanding of linguistic connections but also empowered them with tools to enhance their language skills in a meaningful way. The class was engaged and enthusiastic throughout the lesson, appreciating the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of English and Italian simultaneously. We are incredibly grateful for Ms. Farshtey's time and expertise and look forward to another insightful lesson in the future!
Broadway Night, which featured the choirs from Bridgewater-Raritan High School, Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School, Eisenhower Intermediate School and Hillside Intermediate School, was performed on Wednesday, February 19, and Thursday, February 20, in the BRHS auditorium.

Designers with an eye on fashion crafted various clothing and items during the Design And Swing course this past semester at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
Lori Santos, the Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, taught this Level Two Fashion Design course to students who responded with fine finished products.
“Building on the first level fashion course, Sewing Concepts, students select a garment to construct, modifying the pattern as needed therefore making it an original design,” Ms. Santos explained. “Students learn specific techniques and processes specific to their garment's requirements. This past semester students made handbags, stuffed animals, dresses, tops, and sweatshirts.
