Bring Your Child to Work Day will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Students who participate must follow the district’s attendance guidelines for the absence to be excused.
To have this day marked as an excused absence, families must complete the two-step process:
Report the Absence – Enter the absence in PowerSchool before the start of the school day (prior to 7:20 AM) as you would for any other foreseeable absence. Designate the absence as “Take Your Child to Work Day” as the reason.
Submit Documentation – Provide official written documentation from your employer where your child visited. This documentation must be submitted to the Attendance Office no later than one school day following the absence.
Absences without supporting documentation will be marked as unexcused in accordance with the BRHS Attendance Policy.

Welcome to our final quarter for 24-25 school year! Q3 Report Cards will be posted on Friday. This message is a brief reminder to finish the year strong academically. Also, for full-year courses, remember that Quarter 4 will not have a Basement Grade of 50. Students whose grade is below a 50 will reflect the actual numerical grade.
