Students in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Arts program were more than just actors on the evening of Thursday, October 22.
The stage at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School auditorium provided the scene when the Fall Theatre Soiree was performed before an appreciative audience.
“We had a great turnout,” reported Heather Diaforli-Day, who is the Director of the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Arts program.
She explained the theme of this well-acted event.
“The Fall Theatre Soirée was a magical evening of songs, monologues, scenes, and dance.” Ms. Diaforli-Day said. “This event gives our students the opportunity to take center stage with material they choose and prepare themselves, allowing them to take ownership of their work and showcase their individuality.”
Ms. Diaforli-Day added.
“ I was incredibly proud to see each student grow, take risks, and shine in their own unique way.”
Next up for the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Arts program will be the Fall Play on December 3-5. The play is “A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas.”
