Homecoming Friday students greeted

Bridgewater-Raritan High School students received an early greeting on the first day of Homecoming, Friday, October 2.

The members of the football team, cheerleaders,the drumline band members, and the Panther mascot welcomed the students when they walked off their buses in front of Bridgewater-Raritan High School to start the school day.

This lively early-morning greeting was spearheaded by Jessica Kaiser, the always-active and dedicated College and Career Counselor at the high school.

"This is an awesome tradition in the making," said Dan Hemberger, the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Principal.

The Homecoming Pep Rally will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2, at Basilone Memorial Field, where the football team later will seek to improve on its 4-1 record when it plays Hunterdon Central Regional High School at 6 p.m. The Homecoming Royalty will be announced at halftime.

The weekend will conclude with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 3, at the high school’s small gymnasium, starting at 6 p.m.
