The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Italian Department is proud to recognize all students who participated in this year's National Italian Exam (NIE).

According to Giuseppina Bologno and Giuseppina DiMartino, Italian Teachers at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, the National Italian Exam, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Italian (AATI), challenges students in language proficiency, cultural understanding, vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension. Participation in this national competition alone reflects a strong commitment to language learning, and we congratulate every student who took part in the exam.

Students from Level 2 to AP Italian earned impressive results, including national recognition, medals, certificates, and special awards.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School students earned:

7 gold medals

6 silver

5 bronze medals

Also, three students, Maya Caiati, Edha Gupta and Alexander Newmann also received monetary awards in the amount of $55.00. 

Their accomplishments showcase not only their hard work and perseverance, but also the strength of our world language program.

"We extend our sincere congratulations to all participants and thank their families for their support," said Ms. Bologno and Ms. DiMartino.

Both of these Italian Teachers should also be commended for their passion and dedication in helping the high school students achieve success year after year.

"We are incredibly proud of all of our students for embracing the challenge and representing Bridgewater-Raritan with excellence," Ms. Bologno and Ms. DiMartino said.
