Forty financial accounting students from Bridgewater-Raritan High School rolled the dice when they visited Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus in Madison on Thursday, April 30.
There, they competed in a Monopoly Accounting, an event sponsored by FDU that included college student mentors, professors, and accounting firms.
The Bridgewater-Raritan High School students compete under the guidance of Dave Altemose, a Business Education/Accounting Teacher at the high school.
Also present in the game was West Orange High School, which brought 20 students to the college.
And Bridgewater-Raritan High School came away with the champion in junior Sophia Liu, who won the event.
The runner-up was junior Arjun Prakash, and freshman Robert Bosoy placed third, both from Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
