Bingo night

Bingo!

The Theatre Parent Organization, which supports the Theatre Arts program at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, hit on its Bingo Night, which was held on Friday, March 13

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School cafeteria was the bingo hall that attracted an estimated 100 players that evening.

Karen D’Aloisio, in her first year as president of the Theatre Parent Organization, was thrilled with the results of the first-time event.

“We made over $5,000, which was great,” said Ms. D’Aloisio, an 8th Grade Math Teacher at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School. “We had about 40 baskets of cheer and everyone had a good time.”

Among the events that this fundraiser will support is the upcoming Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Arts production of Little Shop of Horrors.

The spring musical will be playing in the high school’s newly renovated auditorium from April 16-18.

Is there a second Bingo Night on the horizon?

“Yes,” Ms. D’Aloisio said. “We will hold it again next year and grow with it.”
