A lesson to prepare incoming Bridgewater-Raritan High School students was shared with parents and guardians on the evening of Thursday, February 13.
Bridgewater-Raritan High School, under the guidance and direction of administrators and counselors, served as the host to 8th Grade Parent Night in the high school’s auditorium.
Principal Dan Hemberger, Assistant Principal Priscilla Aniegbuna, Counseling Supervisor Alan Iachini, Counselor Anthony Appezzat,o and Jessica Kaiser, the College and Career Counselor, served as the host speakers during the session.
Ms. Kaiser provided a summary of what was a very successful evening of learning provided to the parents and guardians.
“We had a wonderful turnout for 8th Grade Parent Night,” Ms. Kiser said. “Parents were informed about what to expect as their child enters high school, the many opportunities as well as support available to students and the scheduling procedures as 8th Graders prepare to pick their classes for next year.”
Ms. Kaiser further explained this helpful program.
“Parents were encouraged to review the program of studies with their child to assist in course selection,” she reported. “The presentation was sent to all parents and posted to the middle school and high school websites for reference. Should parents have additional questions, they should reach out to their child's middle school counselor.”
