A group of Bridgewater-Raritan High School National Arts Honor Society (NAHS) students have been accepted into the fall contest of the Celebrating Arts program.
The NAHS Students are seniors Rin Van Loggerenberg and Kate Hinton, juniors Amalia Marquardt, Manjeet Goyal and Nayeli Esquivel, sophomores Lucia Bolle and Suzanna Lu and freshman Julia Silvestro.
These students earned the chance to have their artwork published in a book containing pieces of art from all over the United States. Their next step is to wait for the final results of the top 10 winners or the High Merit awards for the 2024 Fall contest.
Meanwhile, in another award competition, the Summer 2024 contest winners received the High Merit award and will be featured in their Summer 2024 contest book.
Those four NAHS students who received the High Merit award were Van Loggerenberg Bolle, Marquardt, and junior Marlene Morales.
According to the NAHS at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, celebrating arts contests is a chance for students of all ages in the United States to feel proud of their work, and these Bridgewater-Raritan students got the chance to experience it and have their artwork be seen by anyone.
