Forensics Parents Association

Welcome to the BRHS Forensics Parents Association web site! Located in Bridgewater, NJ, Bridgewater-Raritan High School through its Forensics, Speech and Debate club offers students opportunities to compete and excel at the regional, state, district and national levels under the guidance of our advisors.

Over 200 students are enrolled in the club and the students participate and compete in debate events, student Congress and ten speech events. The team ranks #7 in the state of NJ (out of 43)

According to the WSJ, "college admissions directors are relying less on grade point averages and standardized test scores, and are relying more on success in academically related extracurricular activities such as speech and debate as well as drama."

The BRHS Forensics Parents Association (FPA) is a parent and community-supported non-profit organization, whose purpose is to help support students in the BRHS Forensics, Speech and Debate club. All FPA members are volunteers.

It is our parent volunteers who serve as the Board Members & Chair the committees; volunteer to judge at tournaments, fundraise, chaperone and help organize the home tournament. There will be many opportunities throughout the year for students and parents to volunteer time to help support the FPA initiatives.
