Bridgewater-Raritan High School World Language Teachers

Our Bridgewater-Raritan High School community recently came together to celebrate and recognize our amazing colleague, Jenn Haff, who, after many years of teaching French at our high school, has left a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and the entire World Language Department.

Throughout her career, Jenn consistently demonstrated an exceptional commitment to education and to the success of her students. Her dedication extended far beyond the regular school day. In fact, she worked tirelessly to prepare lesson plans, develop creative classroom activities, grade assessments, and provide her students with thoughtful feedback. It was not unusual to find Jenn in our building on Saturdays to ensure that everything was ready for her students on Monday morning.

Jenn’s contributions reached well beyond her own classroom. She has been a generous and supportive colleague who shared her academic resources, lesson ideas, and words of wisdom. Particularly, for new teachers or teachers new to the district, Jenn was a valued mentor, someone who offered guidance, encouragement, and practical support. Her willingness to collaborate exemplified the importance of collegiality and reminded us that great teaching is strengthened when educators learn from and support one another.

As one of the advisors to the French Club and the French Honor Society, she also provided students with opportunities to experience French language and Francophone cultures beyond the classroom. Through the many special events and activities she organized, she helped students build connections, celebrate culture, and develop an appreciation for language learning that extended beyond academics.

We were especially grateful to Assistant Superintendent Dr. Daniel Fonder for joining us to recognize and celebrate her many years of service and dedication. His presence helped make this special occasion even more meaningful.

As Jenn begins her next chapter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the countless hours she devoted to her students, her generosity toward her colleagues, and the enthusiasm and professionalism she brought to our school community.

Merci beaucoup for everything you have given to our students and to all of us. Your dedication, kindness, creativity, and mentorship will be greatly missed, but the impact you have made will continue through the students and educators whose lives you have touched.

We wish you much happiness, good health, and success in this new chapter. Bonne chance et meilleurs vœux!
