The following link is a listing of special scholarship programs that are being offered through various organizations. These programs provide opportunities for seniors to apply for various scholarships. Use the link below to view the list and these are also posted in Naviance.

AMERICAN VISIONARY SCHOLARSHIP: Grades 9-12. Applicants must be United States Citizens or Eligible Non-Citizens and may be asked to participate in a qualification interview as part of the application process to assist the ACF in ultimately determining the winners. Awards range from $1,000 - $5,000 each; with multiple winners to be selected. Each award is a non-renewable, one-time award and is to be used exclusively to offset costs and fees related directly to the students first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the students choosing within the United States. BARBARA LOTZE SCHOLARSHIP FOR FUTURE PHYSICS TEACHERS: Applicants must declare their intent to prepare for and engage in a career in physics teaching at the high school level and at the time the scholarship funds are received, the student must be: an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited two-year college, four-year college or a university; or a high school senior accepted for such enrollment; pursuing, or planning to pursue, a course of study leading toward a career in physics teaching in the high schools; showing promise of success in their studies, and a citizen of the United States of America. DELL SCHOLARS PROGRAM: Participate in a program-approved college readiness program in grades 11 and 12. Be on track to graduate from an accredited high school in the current academic year. Demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Be eligible to receive a federal Pell Grant in the first year of college. Plan to enroll full time at an accredited higher education institution in the pursuit of a bachelor's degree in the fall directly following high school graduation. Earn a minimum of a 2.4 GPA. THE HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP:  The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free.  The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to eight (8) consecutive semesters. NATIONAL SPACE CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
: The applicant must be a U.S. citizen. The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students. The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests. The applicant can only use the $15,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year. The applicant must not have previously spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner. STEPHEN J. BRADY STOP HUNGER SCHOLARSHIP: Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation works to ensure that every child in the U.S., especially those most at risk, grows up with dependable access to enough nutritious food to enable them to lead a healthy, productive life. As part of its commitment, Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation wants to engage and reward students who have made a significant impact against hunger and are driving awareness and mobilizing youth to be catalysts for innovative models and solutions to eliminate childhood hunger. LYCEUM SCHOLARS PROGRAM:  Open to incoming freshmen of any major, the Lyceum Scholars Program uses a great books approach to studying the moral, political and economic foundations of a free society. BURRESS LAW UNDERDOG SCHOLARSHIP: If you are interested in applying, please write an essay of 500 words or less (submissions of over 500 words will not be considered) in response to the prompt to the right: If you are so fortunate to have a Grandparent who is or was important in your life, we would love to hear about your relationship with your Grandparent in your response, including meaningful ways they have helped you and you have helped them. Along with your essay, please submit your contact information, a professional photograph of yourself, and proof of your college enrollment. SCIENCE AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIPS:  Film a three-minute educational video of yourself explaining a STEM topic you’re passionate about.  You must be a high school senior or an undergraduate college student to apply. MINDSCAPE BIG PICTURE SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is open to all students who have a deep curiosity in studying the universe for its own sake—whether that be pursuing studies in physics, philosophy, biology, mathematics, literature, or any other field that seeks better understanding of our existence—and will seek to lift up those from underrepresented communities in those fields, and first-generation college students. Scholarship recipients will receive $10,000, to be put toward the tuition cost of an undergraduate degree. If sufficient funds are raised, more than one winner will be selected, or remaining funds will carry over to support scholarships in subsequent years. EQUITABLE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
: Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll fulltime in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year. Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States by Fall 2024. Be a United States citizen or legal resident living or claiming residency in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico. Be willing to provide a release to publicize their identities and information about their achievements along with photographs for use in program promotion/information. ABLE FLIGHT SCHOLARSHIP:  Candidates must be dedicated to the idea that they can change their lives by learning to fly or training for a career in aviation. Able Flight encourages people with a variety of  physical disabilities to apply for a scholarship. Learning to fly is a demanding endeavor, with long hours of ground school study and many hours in the air. Candidates for all scholarships will complete the appropriate application form, including an essay on how they feel the scholarship would change their life. AIAA LOCKHEED MARTIN MARILLYN HEWSON SCHOLARSHIP:  The AIAA Lockheed Martin Marillyn Hewson Scholarship was created in 2022 to encourage young women to study aerospace engineering and pursue a career in the aerospace defense industry.  The scholarship is named for Maryillyn Hewson, former chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation.  She joined Lockheed Martin in 1983 as an industrial engineer.  During her career she held leadership positions across the corporation, including president and chief operating officer; executive vice president of Lockheed Martin’s electronic Systems business area; president of Lockheed Martin Systems; executive vice president of Global Sustainment for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.  The Scholarship awards one $10,000 scholarship. ARTHUR M. & BERDENA KING EAGLE SCOUT SCHOLARSHIP: The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) invites all Eagle Scouts interested in the American Revolution to participate in the Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Contest. The contest is open to all Eagle Scouts who are currently registered in an active unit and have not reached their nineteenth birthday during the year of application. The year that the Eagle rank was awarded is not restricted. Awards are as follows: National First Place Winner receives $10,000; 2nd Place – $6,000; 3rd Place – $4,000; 4th Place – $2,000; 5th Place – $1000; 6th thru 10th – $500; and 11th thru 15th – $200. The First Place Winner will be asked to appear at the SAR Annual Congress, held in June or July, to be recognized and receive the award. Travel and lodging allowance will be provided. AYA’S HEALTHCARE FUTURE TRAVEL NURSE SCHOLARSHIP: Whether you’re already attending nursing school or were just accepted, we encourage you to apply for the Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship. Each year, up to ten (10) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to nursing students chosen by Aya’s selection committee of seasoned nurse leaders on Aya’s clinical services team. DESIGN THINKING SCHOLARSHIP:  Applicants must submit a 500-1,000-word essay on how design thinking or digital design tools will impact you and your career choice. The title of this essay must reflect how design thinking or design tools will reflect you and your career choice. Students do not need to study design in order to apply. THIEL HIGH SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP: Founded by technology entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel in 2011, the Thiel Fellowship is a two-year program for young people who want to build new things. Thiel Fellows skip or stop out of college to receive a $100,000 grant and support from the Thiel Foundation’s network of founders, investors, and scientists. SCALACUBE GAMING SCHOLARSHIP: Write, in your own words, an essay that answers the question: How has Minecraft positively impacted your life from an educational standpoint? We’d like you to take into consideration the current educational achievements of the game, and to expand on them. How can Minecraft help with career development? Can you think of some new and exciting ways to use this game? What more can we do with Minecraft? The sky’s the limit – we want you to show us your passion for Minecraft and to share your experiences and ideas with us. There are no right or wrong answers, but we will focus on essays that speak to the positive educational benefits of Minecraft. GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: Exceptional student leaders are invited to apply for the 2024 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. In honor of the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan, this program annually rewards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships (up to $40,000 per recipient). NJCPA-NJ SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS SCHOLARSHIP: The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to New Jersey high school seniors who plan to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits. These $6,500 scholarships are presented over four years. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, an essay and personal interview. A person must intend to begin the study of accounting as a major in the school year following the one in which the application was submitted. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.50 or above OR a minimum combined evidenced-based reading and writing plus math SAT score of 1260 OR minimum average ACT score of 26. ASIAN & PACIFIC ISLANDER AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: The APIASF scholarship awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 wards. Minimum eligible criteria include: be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity, be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the U.S., be enrolling as an undergraduate student in an accredited U.S. college or university in the fall of 2024, have a minimum GPA of 2.7 on 4.0 scale, must apply for federal aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), submit one letter of recommendation online. ARMY ROTC: The Four-year High School Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. REQUIREMENTS: Be a U.S. citizen; Be between the ages of 17 and 26; Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50; Have a high school diploma or equivalent; Score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores); Meet physical standards. Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard). YOUR COMMITMENT: An eight-year service commitment with the Army. Serve full time in the Army for four years and four years with the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR). GETTYSBURG COLLEGE STEM PROGRAM: Enroll in an exclusive First-Year Seminar taught by STEM faculty; participate in community-building activities on and off campus and engage in various STEM opportunities, including student-faculty research, peer-mentoring, preferential residence in Gettysburg College’s STEM House, as well as work-related internship opportunities with institutional industry partners. WASHINGTON CROSSING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: This award is for students completing 12th grade in 2024 who are planning careers in government service. Explore their website, www.gwcf.org, which contains all of the information candidates should require to prepare and submit an application. Each interested student is invited to write a one-page essay stating why he or she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware. NEW JERSEY JCI SENATE SCHOLARSHIP: Each year, the US JCI Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities, or vocational schools. NAVAL HELICOPTER ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP: To be eligible for the scholarship a student must have a family member who is a current member of NHA and in good standing for the last three years.  Students must plan on pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Fall of 2024. NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION DAR SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for a New Jersey High School Senior or home school student with a desire to attend an accredited college or university in the U.S. The applicant must be a United States citizen, and a student with a need for financial aid to continue his/her education and major in Political Science, History, Government or Economics. Applications, transcripts and two letters of recommendation must be sent by your counselor and received by DAR in order to be potentially selected and endorsed by the local chapter of DAR. COAST GUARD EXCHANGE (CGX) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: Recognizing the value of education and the benefits it brings to the Coast Guard Family, the Coast Guard Exchange (CGX) Scholarship Program was established to provide additional financial resources to dependent children of Coast Guard personnel embarking on undergraduate college/university studies.  Annually a $2,000 scholarship is awarded to the outstanding applicants on a one-time basis.  The number of scholarships granted each year depends on available funding. MONK’S HOME IMPROVEMENTS SCHOLARSHIP: College-bound students who have demonstrated a leadership role in community service are encouraged to apply for the Monk's Service Scholarship. Five scholarships, each in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded. JANET LOGAN DAILY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: grants an annual award to one graduating high school senior from NJ who enrolls full-time in an accredited university or college within the U.S. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, actively participate in at least one extra-curricular activity, and must have worked an average of 30 hours per week during the summer since the age of 16. Financial need may be considered when selecting the recipient. This scholarship rewards students from varying academic backgrounds who consistently demonstrate responsibility, motivation and positive character within and beyond the classroom.
