Tuning up for the first competition of the marching band season

Musicians at Bridgewater-Raritan High School are practicing during the school hours to prepare for the first competition of the fall.

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band will compete against other schools in the state when the first New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association competition is held on Saturday, September 24, at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

Two more NJMBDA competitions will be held before Bridgewater-Raritan High, the defending state champion, will seek to repeat during the state championship event on Oct. 30  at The College of New Jersey in Ewing.
