Students vs Faculty Basketball Game on tap June 2

The students will seek to out rebound, out shoot and clearly out play their teachers on the basketball court.

And for a good cause, too.

The annual Students vs. Faculty Basketball Game, the prime fundraiser for the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Student Council, will be held on Friday, June 2, at the high school's main gym.

Tip-off time is 7 p.m.

Sarah Cleary, the Co-Advisor with Michelle Mammone of the Student Council, explained about how the game benefits the student body.

"Funds go to Student Council and we use them towards projects throughout the year. The projects include homecoming royalty and other expenses related to that," Ms. Cleary said. "We are also hoping to use them to fund a homecoming dance next year. This is something that hasn't happened in a very long time and the students want to bring it back. "
