High school gymnastics team repeats as Somerset County champion

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School gymnastics team is the champion of Somerset County—again.

Bridgewater-Raritan successfully defended its county championship when it trimmed runner-up Hillsborough High School, 105.9250 to 105.7250, on Monday, October 3, at Montgomery High School.

Elle Kim captured three county titles when she won in bars (9.2000), floor (9.2500), and all-around (35.9500) to also give Bridgewater-Raritan an all-around champion for the second straight year. Kim also finished fifth in beam (8.8000) to cap off her big performance

Sanjana Thayi finished first  in beam (9.0750) and placed third in vault (9.1000).

Olivia Petronzi placed second in floor (9.1500), Marley Dolan finished tied for fifth in bars (8.3500), and Lauren Yang ended sixth in floor (8.9000) to round out the top-six county places by the Panthers.
