The future is now for business students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
Fourteen students set the tone for their future in business careers when they received awards during the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference that was held in Atlantic City on March 6 through 8.
One student, junior Abhijay Edavalapati, was elected to be the regional vice president for the New Jersey North Central Region.
He was elected by the FBLA members in the region during the conference that was held in the Harrah’s Hotel and Conference Center.
The following Bridgewater-Raritan High School students placed in the top four of their event, which qualified each of them to participate in the FBLA National Leadership Conference that will be held in late June in Atlanta

"Those of us who are the co-advisers (Mrs. Kerri Fry and Mr. Mike Bittner) to the BRHS FBLA Chapter, along with Mr. (Zach) Bray and Mr. (Phil) D'Apolito who attended as extra chaperones were extremely proud of the performance of all 39 of our students,” said Mr. Bittner, who is the high school’s Teacher of Entrepreneurship and Business Management, International Business and Introduction to Business.
