Freshman students are cordially invited to visit Bridgewater-Raritan High School prior to the start of the 2019-20 school year.
An informal "Freshman Student Orientation" will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 10:00 AM, in the Auditorium of the High School (building 100). The program will consist of an introduction of the High School Administration, a PowerPoint presentation to provide some tips and suggestions about the first days of school, and an opportunity for students to walk around campus to find assigned classrooms. Students will be excused to leave at 11:45am.
We are unable to provide transportation on August 28th. We are hopeful however, that students will be able to arrange their own means of getting to and from school on this date.
The orientation will allow students to become familiar with the campus, to know the location of their homeroom and to feel more relaxed about the first official day of school which is slated for Thursday, September 5, 2019.
Students are asked to print their unofficial schedule, which will be available in Powerschool, and bring it to the orientation. In addition, please print and bring the attached campus map of the school.
The orientation on August 28th is only for students. A separate "Freshman Parent Orientation Program" will take place on Tuesday, September 10th. An email will be forthcoming with additional information about that meeting.
We look forward to beginning our association with all new students.
